Gustie Owens is a junior at Barnard from New York City majoring in Urban Studies with a concentration in Anthropology. On campus she is involved in leading Columbia’s satire paper, The Federalist, as well as ColumbiaVotes. She is eager to use data to look into issues in New York City and beyond related to the environment, transportation, and housing and is looking forward to helping students with projects using GIS, Excel, and R.
