During the academic year Fellows will help students during walk-in lab hours, assist in the development of the lab's resources, and potentially be assigned to specific courses for class support. Duties include support for the design of empirical projects and surveys, for statistics and analysis techniques, mapping and GIS methods, and for software including, but not limited to Excel, STATA, SPSS, R, Python, QGIS, and/or ArcGIS. Some experience with Excel required. Familiarity with one of the following is preferred: R, Python, STATA, SPSS, ArcGIS, or QGIS. Additional training in statistical and GIS software will be provided. We welcome applications from undergraduates enrolled in any Columbia undergraduate program (Barnard, CC, GS, SEAS).

Commitment/Compensation: 8-10 hrs/week; $18/hr
