Noreen Mayat is a sophomore majoring in Data Science and minoring in Middle Eastern studies at Barnard College. Noreen is skilled in Python and Java and is also currently learning to program in R. As a Muslim woman of color, Noreen is particularly invested in the intersections of tech and social justice advocacy, and hopes to work on projects in line with the Data for Good movement in the future. In her free time, Noreen loves writing poetry, baking desserts, and trying new food places.
