Inés Pérez (BC '23) is the Associate Director of the Empirical Reasoning Center. Her research interests lie at the intersection of computational methods and political science, combining machine learning, AI, traditional econometrics, network analysis, and text analysis to examine shifting economic landscapes of labor, access, and behavior through a critical lens. She is passionate about promoting universal data literacy across the Barnard community and helping students, faculty, and staff find meaningful, personal connections to data and their own interests.
